Individual Coaching &
Professional Learning Communities

Workshops are rich sights of learning, but they are not enough to shift practice. We learn best when we can try out new instructional practices and reflect on how they impact our students' learning. Annie is a collaborative partner in that process.

She works with teachers one on one or in small groups to identify and explore opportunities for growth in their own practice.

Teacher Coaching

Annie works with individual teachers to reflect on and strengthen their instructional practice. She collaborates with the teacher over six weekly visits to set a measurable goal that has an impact on student engagement and learning.

After each visit, she reflects on the lesson with the teacher and establishes indicators of progress. She uses video, student data, and modeling to support reflective, targeted conversations.

Coaching is informed by Jim Knight and Elena Aguilar.
